I’m a busy bee between running a business and being mom. I’ve come to understand that for me it doesn’t need to impact my health and well being. It’s a choice. Sick isn’t safe. Well is. So, as I run about tending to the needs of others – I also take care of me. I grab what I need, and go. The result? Simple body bliss, day after day.
Grab n’ Go Oatmeal Breakfast
- 4 cups GF oatmeal
- 1 cup organic juice (we used apple cider, since we had some left over)
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2 bananas, 1 cup applesauce or 2 organic fruit and vegetable squeezables
- 1/4 cup your favorite healthy raw stuff (raw cacao meal or nibs, walnuts, sunflower seeds, vegan chocolate chips)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- sea salt, cinnamon and/or nutmeg to taste
Mix all the ingredients together and use a tablespoon to dollop onto a nonstick baking tray. Put into preheated oven (set at 350) for 10 minutes. Even if they look wet, they are ready.
